Day 2 Job Site 1

Well today was a very long but productive day.  We finished our fence right before lunch.  Our homeowner had come out and talked to us and asked about how to repair the steps on her front porch and her side porch.  We talked to her about it and told her we could in fact do this for her if we could get the supplies.  The representative from the city stopped by and we spoke to him about doing the extra work.  He got approval for us and then headed out with out supply list to purchase everything we needed.  It took a little longer than expected for him to get back so we got started a little later in the afternoon than we had planned on.  We completely took out her side porch with steps going down both sides and we rebuilt everything.  Then we also took our her front porch stairs and rebuilt them.  The groups fro the other job site finished up in the late afternoon and came over to lend a hand. We were able to get everything done by then end of day.  We ended up missing dinner though because we wanted to stay and finish.  We had pizza and salad for dinner back at the dorm.
