TOOL TRAINING

Each month we have been getting together to learn about the tools we will be using and also to learn how to safely use them. First we learned about non-power hand tools and then we moved on to the power tools. We started with saws. It's been fun and interesting lerning to use the different saws. We have worked with the circular saw, chop saw (miter saw) and the table saw. Next month we will continue working with the saws, and we will learn about the drills as well. Lot's of real life skills are being developed. Can't wait until we get to put our learning to actula use. This year we are going to build dog houses after we learn to use all the tools.
